Major Duties
- Serve as an Environmental Program Manager with responsibility for providing technical environmental advice to program planning, budgeting, policy guidance and oversight of assigned environmental cleanup program areas.
- Implement policy to ensure ARNG sites are in compliance with applicable laws, directives and regulations pertaining to environmental cleanup.
- Formulate the programming, planning, and budgeting of environmental requirements through review and approval of State and Territory environmental cleanup projects.
- Serve as the environmental technical lead for assigned program area within the organization.

Combination of education and experience: education equivalent to one of the majors shown in A above that included at least 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science, plus appropriate experience or additional education. In addition to meeting the basic requirements above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Using environmental program principles to apply new theories to environmental restoration; Resolving problems within agency environmental programs; Assisting in the development of environmental program policies and procedures; Providing advice on the interpretation of policy directives
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-12 or equivalent). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Pay Range
$102,663.00 - $133,465.00
