Job Summary

Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County. Bordering the installation to the north are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a two hour drive to the east along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the west of Ft. Leonard Wood.

Major Duties

  • Manage FLW Hospital Resident Office under limited supervision given general instructions related to responsibilities, policies, objectives, deadlines and budget constraints; work judged by results attained.
  • Serve as Administrative Contracting Officer on contracts assigned to Resident Office, in this cases large and complex FLW Hospital Replacement Mega-project.
  • Supervisor of resident office staff; assigns work, determines schedules and priorities for 15-20 subordinates.
  • Maintain liaison with all customers and using agencies to include coordination, managing expectations and resolving concerns.
  • Manage staffing levels by preparation of workload analysis and corresponding hiring actions.
  • Manage contract changes/modifications and serves as voting member on the FLW Hospital Replacement change management board.

Specialized experience is defined as a team leader planning, directing or reviewing Construction Quality-Assurance, or Construction Contract Administration work. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12. Pay Range

$91,231.00 - $118,603.00
