Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER in the Environmental Business Line, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND PAC. A Cost-of-Living Allowance (COLA) of 10.28% will be added to the stated salary.
Major Duties
- You will assign work to subordinate employees based on priorities, requirements, and employee capabilities to ensure work is performed and completed within established deadlines.
- You will oversee an environmental program to ensure execution of short and long range goals, objectives, plans of action and mile stones, or schedules are accomplished.
- You will interact with internal and external customers for project execution.
- You will confirm compliance with environmental laws and regulations to reduce impact on installation operations.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and implementing projects, priorities, budgets, execution of plans, guidelines, long-range planning, strategies and objectives for environmental programs; 2) Managing budgets for environmental compliance, pollution prevention, conservation and cultural resources; 3) Eliminating and preventing air/environmental pollution risk in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; and 4) Serving as technical authority for environmental programs in hazardous waste management, air pollution, and solid waste management. Pay Range
$111,163.00 - $144,510.00
