Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the Environmental Affairs Branch of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER .
Major Duties
- You will monitor day-to-day and long-term operations, establish priorities, provide guidance, evaluate performance, resolve conflicts, and determine training needs.
- You will initiate requests to fill vacancies and select candidates. Solve management-employee problems and resolve grievances.
- You will plan for, develop, and manage an annual operating budget, respond to recycling center related data-calls, develop and facilitate quarterly committee meetings.
- You will analyze current and proposed recycling programs to evaluate their actual or potential effectiveness.
- You will perform routine investigations and site assistance visits and provide technical assistance, guidance, and information concerning what to turn in for recycling, dispose of solid waste, and how to implement source reduction.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performs variety of environmental programs (e.g. identification, classification, collection, and/or disposition of recyclable material) and/or analyzing recycling programs and instructions for effectiveness; or implementing solid waste program for recovery and reduction. Pay Range
$55,204.00 - $71,764.00
