Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Major Duties

  • You will serve as the Program Manager over the afloat and P2 team and be responsible for dissemination of standardized HM data and support for afloat HAZMAT management.
  • You will provide direction to personnel and provide advice and guidance to Fleet and field personnel on any aspect of afloat data and supply pollution prevention.
  • You will direct, coordinate with HSCs, and provide guidance to staff regarding the development of afloat HM programs.
  • You will provide HM metrics and data analysis for higher level Echelons and acquisition programs in support of HMC and M program goals and objectives.
  • You will perform technical and administrative supervision and leadership functions for the N261 Afloar Hazardous Material and Pollution Prevention team.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Representing the organization as a Hazardous Materials data expert at meetings, conferences or workshops involving supply hazardous material policies, requirements and procedures; 2) Establishing and maintaining contact with officials and managers to explain requirements, interpret policy, justify recommendations and negotiate for funding or other requests; 3) Working with representatives to develop cooperative agreements, standardized procedures, and other efforts; 4) Providing justification, requirements, and providing assistance on the creation, review, and justification of budgets for assigned programs; 5) Providing direction, advice and guidance to personnel on any aspect of afloat data and supply pollution prevention. Pay Range

$92,214.00 - $119,882.00
