Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GEOGRAPHER in the Exploson Effects and Consequences ( of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.

Major Duties

  • You will serve as GIS Program Branch Supervisor, GIS Technical Manager and Senior GIS Subject Matter Expert.
  • You will foster a working environment of creative research, development, test, evaluation and Geospatial and Linear segmentation consultation efforts.
  • You will assist the Division Director in planning division programs and preparation of operating budgets.
  • You will You will schedule division resources for timely acquisition and utilization of the workforce and experimental facilities.
  • You will promote and support the deployment and use of GIS across, EXWC, NAVFAC, and the Navy as required to meet Dod requirements.
  • You will serve as a Project Manager, establishing and implementing top level strategy, objectives, and performance measures for assigned projects.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing administrative duties, financial planning and final acceptance of work for the branch; 2) Negotiating performance agreements with EXWC Program Managers; 3) Planning and managing requirements for mapping information and related applications; 4) Evaluating a wide variety of geospatial data to recommend improvements or new design of Geographic Information Software (GIS) and/or databases; and Participating in the design and development of new or updated imagery/mapping database systems to ensure effective integrations and conformity. Pay Range

$123,111.00 - $160,041.00
