Job Summary

**Salary includes locality pay. **Currently authorized 10.28% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA), subject to change.

Major Duties

  • You will serve as the Chief of the Restoration Section, Honolulu District and will be responsible for the direct supervision of Project Managers, technical staff and support staff within the Environmental Branch of PPMD.
  • You will be responsible for managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scoping, development, design, construction, and direction of major projects to support a program.
  • You will apply an extensive knowledge of management concepts, principles, methods and practices as well as knowledge of methods, practices and processes of engineering and science disciplines.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) establishing funds estimates to ensure project efficiency; 2) resolve technical and administrative project problems; and 3) create operating plans for the construction or environmental needs of projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Pay Range

$94,071.00 - $122,296.00
