Job Summary
The Alaska District is seeking to fill a Program Manager position to lead the Military and Interagency Environmental Section. Candidates must be capable of working with teams and stakeholders while leading dynamic programs with evolving requirements. This position is being filled under the Expedited Hiring Authority (EHA) for Defense Acquisition Workforce Positions in accordance with 10 USC § 1705(g).
Major Duties
- Responsible for the direct supervision of Project/Program Managers and support staff within a Section of the Environmental and Special Programs Branch.
- Serves as Program and Project Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned programs and projects.
- Coordinates the planning, design, engineering, procurement, construction, etc. for environmental and other projects of considerable scope and complexity.
- Controls and manages project scope, schedule and budget from planning through execution and closure.
- Represents the District Commander, as the district's primary point of contact for projects assigned with sponsor/customer, Federal, state and local government agencies, Congressional interests, other external organizations and higher authorities.

Pay Range
