Job Summary

This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.

Major Duties

  • You will establish objectives, program, plans and policies for Environmental Compliance and Environmental Restoration activities.
  • You will perform environmental compliance evaluations.
  • You will coordinate with installation departments and tenant commands on existing environmental practices and actions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies.
  • You will serve as the Planning, Programming, Budget ad Executions System (PPBE) interface for installation environmental program requirements.
  • You will coordinate, identify and submit environmental program requirements and manage environmental program funding.
  • You will perform supervisory duties, planning work assignments and work schedules, administering the performance appraisal system, imposing disciplinary actions and solving grievances and employee complaints.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer/Physical Scientist providing administrative and technical project management for the operation of Environmental Compliance and Environmental Restoration activities including, developing objectives, plans and policies, performing environmental compliance evaluations AND coordination of environmental program requirements and environmental funding for a organization. Pay Range

$91,231.00 - $118,603.00
