Job Summary

Major Duties

  • You will supervise multi-discipline engineering services and facilities service contracts provided by the command.
  • You will give advice, counsel or instructions to individual employees on both work and administrative matters.
  • You will ensure construction, operations, maintenance, facilities, and repair programs have adequate resources.
  • You will manage resources to accomplish project workloads efficiently and effectively.
  • You will ensure projects or assignments meet regulatory requirements.
  • You will oversee teams to ensure successful project execution is within established standards.
  • You will compose technical correspondence related to engineering and architectural designs, plans, and objectives.
  • You will evaluate A-E construction projects to recommend improvements and solutions to problems.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for the series in which you are applying, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience as a professional engineer or architect at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as a consultant and technical expert in managing design, engineering, and construction programs;

2) Assessing and resolving design, construction, and facilities issues;

3) Applying new developments or proactive solutions to problems not readily treatable by accepted or established methods;

4) Managing complex design engineering construction contracts; and

Pay Range

$100,820.00 - $131,064.00
