Job Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Architect in the Operations Department of NAVAL FAC ENGR CMD EUROPE SW ASIA.

Major Duties

  • You will perform independent strategic thinking to support the development of organizational and command objectives with other senior leaders in the command.
  • You will provide technical leadership and advice in monitoring, submitting, coordinating and executing both Navy Working Capital Fund and General Fund budgets.
  • You will provide briefings and issue papers on programs of matter of major importance to high-level investigative staffs, including Congressional committees and subcommittees.
  • You will directly oversee assignments and work performed by subordinate military and civilian employees.

Qualifications

This position has a Selective Placement Factor (SPF) which is current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) in any state, District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. If you meet this requirement, you MUST provide a copy of your current registration with expiration with your application. Note - a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date on it will not serve to verify this requirement. In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying comprehensive facilities management processes and command product and service delivery to support missions critical to national security and combatant commander priorities; 2) Administering appropriated and working capital budgets to manage a public works departmental effort to support changes in workload; 3) Applying new engineering/architecture theories and developments to solve complex and unique client requirements and problems; and 4) Providing technical guidance to officials/staff on program matters to explain and promote programs or to delineate problems impacting operations. Pay Range

$109,366.00 - $142,180.00
