Data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey provides monthly occupational employment data to examine changes in geoscience employment over time. The chart shows monthly occupational data from January 2019 through November 2024. Between October 2024 and November 2024, geoscience employment increased overall by 249 jobs.
