Data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey provides monthly occupational employment data to examine changes in geoscience employment over time. The chart shows monthly occupational data from January 2019 through March 2024. Between February 2024 and March 2024, geoscience employment increased overall by just over 16,500 jobs.
