Marcus Milling Legendary Geoscientist Medal

The Marcus Milling Legendary Geoscientist Medal is essentially a lifetime achievement award, given in recognition of an individual’s high-quality basic and applied science achievements in the Earth sciences. The candidates will have previously received recognition for meritorious contributions and service from professional societies, universities, or other public-sector organizations. The successful candidate will be a senior scientist of national recognition and living at the time of selection and is expected to personally accept the award.
