AEG #landslides symposium will explore best practices

The Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG) is hosting a symposium on landslides in Roanoke, Virginia, in June. See the announcement at their website or copied below:
 
 
The Landslides: Putting Experience, Knowledge and Emerging Technologies into Practice
June 4-8, 2017 • Roanoke, VA
 
The main objective of the symposium is to provide a stimulating forum for geoscientists, engineers, planners, economists, program managers, and other decision makers concerned with landslide hazards and their impact on society. Papers related to investigation, classification, monitoring, analysis and mitigation of landslides, as well as case studies on innovative analysis techniques and solutions will be presented.
 
Register by March 31, 2017 at an early registration rate of $675. Registration after March 31 will be $800. Full Registration includes Icebreaker, Exhibit Hall, Daily Lunch and Symposium Field Trips. Guest and student registrations are available as well. Short Courses offer Student and Professional pricing.
