The Seismological Society of America (SSA) shared the experiences of their student members who were awarded the Geoscience Congressional Visits Day (Geo-CVD) grant offered by the society. 

The program, in its eighth year, brings student members to the halls of Congress to meet with their Senators and House Representatives. This year's students were Rob Anthony a graduate student at Colorado State University, Ph.D. Candidate Kendra Johnson of the Colorado School of Mines, and Marshall Roger-Martinez a graduate student at the University of Southern California.
