The Paleontological Society Executive Committee published a letter they submitted to the Department of the Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke on the value of U.S. public lands to the paleontological sciences. While stating strong opposition to the hatste of the Trump Administration's review of National Monuments to reduce park size, or even elimiation, the organziation did state a keen interest to work with the Administration to provide expertise and context.
