The U.S. Geological Survey's Volcanoes and Current Activity Alerts map shows the location and activity levels of all volcanoes in the United States. The map allows for filtering based on both location and current volcano status. Each volcano is depicted by a small colored triangle with different colors indicating various volcano alert levels:

• Green = normal
• Yellow = advisory
• Orange = watch
• Red = warning

Users can click on individual volcanoes to see that volcano's page on the USGS website.

The California Geological Survey's interactive landslide map displays landslide locations and links to detailed landslide maps and reports for select Californian regions. The type of landslide reports vary by area and include both historical and recent landslide information.

The U.S. Geological Survey's WaterWatch Flood Map allows you to find areas currently experiencing flood and high flow conditions across the United States. The map is updated daily and provides the option to search flood conditions by state or water-resources region.

The Arkansas Geological Survey Mineral Commodity Search / Map catalogs information for over 40 mineral resources. Using the interactive map, users can view the locations of active, abandoned, intermittent, and reclaimed mines for each of the listed mineral commodities.

By clicking on individual mines, users can find more information, including the mine operator, mine history, and some information about the specific materials being mined.

The Energy Information Administration Energy Mapping System provides an interactive map of U.S. power plants, pipelines and transmission lines, and energy resources. Using the map tool, users can view a selection of different map layers displaying the location and information about:

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Mineral Resources Data System catalogs information about mineral resources around the United States and the world. Using the map tool, users can zoom in to obtain reports and data on past and present mines, mine prospects, and processing plants.

All of the data can be downloaded for further use and analysis.
