ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Recognizing the important role of today's science teachers in shaping tomorrow's geoscience professionals and leaders, the American Geosciences Institute (AGI) invites eligible science educators to apply for the 2025 Edward C. Roy Jr. Award for Excellence in K-8 Earth Science Teaching. The award is given in honor of Dr. Edward C. Roy Jr., a dedicated supporter of Earth science education.
 

Dr. Kevin Bohacs Honored as the 2024 Marcus Milling Legendary Geoscientist

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Dr. Kevin Bohacs, a trailblazing sedimentologist and stratigrapher who is now retired from ExxonMobil in Houston, Texas, has been awarded the American Geosciences Institute's (AGI) 2024 Marcus Milling Legendary Geoscientist Medal in recognition of his lifetime of notable achievements in the geosciences and global impact across disciplines.

Aida Awad of American Intercontinental University Honored for Service to AGI
