DOE - The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy (FE) announces the availability of the Draft Addendum to Environmental Review Documents Concerning Exports of Natural Gas From The United States (Addendum) for public review and comment. [Wednesday, June 4, 2014 (Volume 79, Number 108]

DOI - The information collection request for the requirements for surface coal mining and reclamation operations on Indian lands has been forwarded to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and comment. DOI- Department of the Interior (DOI) Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) requests information and comments on the preparation of the 2017-2022 Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Oil and Gas Leasing Program. EPA - The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the comment period on the new definition of “Waters of the United States” under the Clean Water Act. Comments must now be received on or before October 20, 2014. [Tuesday, June 24, 2014 (Volume 79, Number 121)]

President Obama announces creation of a new federal strategy to promote the health of honey bees and other pollinators. A Pollinator Health Task Force will be co-chaired by the Secretary of Agriculture and the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, with representatives from other agencies. EPA- The Environmental Protection Agency proposes amendments to the national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants for petroleum refineries. The EPA will hold public hearings on this proposed rule on July 16, 2014 and comments must be received before August 29, 2014. [Monday, June 30, 2014 (Volume 79, Number 125)]
